Is Jeanesse Global a Scam?
This is a network company that sells skin care products. The products can range from cream, nutrition and even stem cells. The products itself is not a scam and you will get what you pay for, but the biggest concern for most people is whether the financial rewards plan from Jeunesse Global is a scam.
Most people are not interested in the products, but they do buy them, because of the compensation plan. The financial rewards plan are compensating its sellers in an mlm fashion. I am not a big fan of mlm though, but there are people that are making serious money, while others are struggling to even make a dime.
Let us dig a bit deeper into the compensation plan
There are different ways to earn money with this company. The compensation plan is a bit complicated and has the same functionality as Syntek Global.
1. Retail Profit
First of all you need to reach the associate level within Jeunesse to be able to sell their products. In order to get to this level you need to buy the starter kit that will cost you $50. Inside this starter kit, you will get a guide on how everything works and you will also get personalized website from where you can sell the products from.
You can earn up to 45% profit from the products that you promote to your customers.
2. First Order Packages
Now let’s say that you want to build your own team (I will talk about this in the next section), you will earn a bonus for each package that your enrollee buys. The packages varies in sizes and are a combination of different products that he or she can use for personal or promotional purposes to also build their downline.
The commission that you get from the packages range from $25 up to $250 depending on the size.
3. Team Commissions
This is the reason why most people join an mlm because of the passive earning nature of this method. You can only have 2 legs which is a left and a right leg. These will be your first 2 referrals and if you refer more than 2, then they will be added on their legs.
For this to work, your team needs to make sales which will result in CV (Commissionable Volume). If your left leg or team has sold a total of $300, then this leg will earn 300 CV and it is the same with your right leg. In order to earn a commission, one of your legs needs to create at least 300 CV while the other needs to create 600 CV and it does not matter which leg is the strongest.
So in short your teams need a 300:600 ratio in order for you to earn a team commission of $35. When you earned your commission, 300 CV will be subtracted from the weaker side and 600 CV will be subtracted from the righter side which will end the cycle so that a new one can begin. There is no limit to the amount of cycles per day.
In order to qualify for the team, you need to be a Distributor. To be a distributor, you first need to be an associate and then you need to buy or sell enough products to earn 100 PV (Personal volume). The PV will contribute to the group volume or CV.
Before you can earn your $35 from the group or CV, you need to be an Executive. You can become an executive you first must be a Distributor and when the first 2 people that you enrolled becomes Distributors themselves, you will have the honour to be an Executive and earn your fair share of $35 from your group.
4. Leadership Matching Bonuses
First of all you need to reach the Jade level. The Jade is the level after the Executive and can only be accomplished if you personally enrolled 4 Executives or 8 Distributors. Remember that this can only be from your own personal downline and not that from the group. Once you reach the Jade level, you will earn 20% from the matching bonuses from the first generation that you referred.
After the Jade, you can become a Pearl where you will earn another 15% from the referrals of your referrals or let’s say your second generation. By becoming a Pearl, you need to enrol 8 Executives or 12 Distributors.
After the Pearl, you get the Sapphire Executive level where you will earn 10% from your 3rd generation. To reach the Sapphire Executive level, you need to personally enrol 12 executives where each one has generated 100 PV.
More levels
There are a total of 15 levels in this company that you can reach and I have only explained 6 of the levels and the prerequisite of them are volume based. You can then earn 5% from from each of the generation from 4 up to 6.
You can also make money from the bonus pool where you can have a share of the 3% that the company takes from the total CV depending on the level that you have reached.
Should you join Jeunesse Global?
The company looks legit to me and there are other mlm companies that are just horrible compared to this one. I would say that this is one of the better mlm’s out there and the product range looks good, but overall I am not such a big fan when it comes to multilevel marketing.
To make money with mlm is a very tricky business because there are so many things to keep in mind. Selling the products is easy, but trying to convince someone to join your downline is pretty hard. If you had a hard time understanding all of the levels in this company, then how would you explain it to your “future customer”?
You need to know how to approach people the right way and that can take years of experience to accomplish. The only way to have success with network marketing is if you can train your downline to do marketing. In the end you will spend more time teaching them instead of building new legs for yourself and that is if you know how to market.
If you have some experience in marketing, then you might have a shot, but if you are new to this whole network marketing business model, then you should reconsider. If you are new, then your sponsors will also be breathing down your neck and this is one of the reasons why I stopped mlm in the first place.
Easier way to build a passive income
Instead of going into a market that is too saturated, you can follow your passion. Did you know that you can make money with your passion? You can do this in the form of affiliate marketing where you can earn a commission from each product that you promote.
There is no need to chase after people to stuff the next best business opportunity down their throat. There are millions of products that you can promote and make money from by building your very own websites which is your property and you make the rules. Training centres such as Wealthy Affiliate can teach you how to earn money from the internet.

Hey, Viljoen! Thank you very much for the explanation on Jeunesse. I am personally not a fan of MLM as well, as invariable it gets really difficult to separate it from your personal life and trying to sell products to the people you know in a “pushy” way. There are many legit ones, and Jeunesse seems to be the case, but I prefer other business models such as affiliates.
I agree Daniel
I once tried to enroll my boxing coach to an MLM company and he was not very impressed. I even tried to enroll my brother. My upline insisted that I do it and there was a lot of pressure from them.
That was the main reason why I left MLM for good.
Top review and interesting to boot! I never know with these types of earn online opportunities – they always seem to have something pyramid or something MLM about them! I feel that you often get caught out and left with a ton of products…with no real hope of getting your investment back!
That is one of the biggest problems that I have with mlm’s in general and that is that you need to buy the product in order to qualify. If the products where cheap then it was another story. It gets hard to sell the products especially when you can get similar products from your local store.
Hi Viljoen
Thanks for the great review. I have been recently looking at this company to supplement my income but to be honest it seems terribly confusing. I guess most multi level marketing companies are!
You’ve done an excellent job explaining the various levels. MLM is so appealing because of the earning potential but as you say it can be quite another story to successfully build a downline.
I also agree that Wealthy Affiliate is certainly a better option to earn long term revenue. Fantastic Read.
Kind Regards
Michelle
Hi Michelle
I tried MLM before and to explain the compensation plan to your downline is not easy. Among other things this was the one factor that really crippled my success.
Thanks for this Jeunesse review.
I looked at them a while back and I was just shocked at the prices of the Jeunesse products! It would be cheaper long term to just have a face lift.
I also researched their products online and found that there are lots of complaints.
So just taking that into account I would never bother with them and that isn’t even bothering to look at the MLM side of things.
As far as I’m concerned anything that looks remotely like MLM is a no go for me. It is an unsustainable business model and to make money you have to have a thick skin and bulldose people to join and buy from you.
This is not my style at all.
Yeah I know the feeling. It is not a great idea to approach people on a daily basis just so that you can build your team. This is what I like about affiliate marketing and it is that you can make money by helping people with what they want.
MLM is also receiving a lot of bad rep these last couple of years which makes it even harder to accomplish.
Thank you for you interesting insights and opinions Viljoen. May I ask how much multilevel marketing you have done? I’m just curious.
I have never tried any MLM program myself and I have been reading that many people criticize them a lot. Put if I’m honest the idea behind MLM programs is quite interesting. The problem is that I have never met a product that I could recommend 100% for my friends. Many times MLM products are very expensive and not competitive against the products in the supermarket.
In addition, I’m not very interested in skin care.. 😉 But probably I could be more interested if I would dig deeper and study the subject more… Let’s see. I’m open for new opportunities. But right now I’m concentrating more on Internet marketing as you are.
I hope you all the best

Hi Roope.
I have been involved with 2 different companies. Then there was another one that I wanted to join, but luckily I did not because I came across Affiliate Marketing. The problem with most mlm’s these days is that they focus so much on the compensation plan and do not spend enough time improving their products.
It is hard to see a company that has both good product and a good compensation plan. I think they are extinct.
