Secret Success Machine review
Company: Secret Success Machine
Website: secretsuccessmachine.com
Type: MLM
Products: eBooks, digital audio, etc.
Rating: Scam
One important thing you have to understand when reading reviews on programs like the Secret Success Machine is that it is not all of them that are genuine. In addition, in this age, it is very difficult to see an MLM business that is legitimate.
This is because the structure of the whole scheme is not usually friendly to those who are just starting out. People who are just looking for ways to make money and just testing the waters will find it difficult to excel, as there are many important skills that is required for doing MLM. In reality, these people likely do not to have these skills. As far as information concerning this program is concerned, only those who already have a business or who are skillful in selling and marketing are succeeding with it. Therefore, you need to have these skills before you can succeed.
In order to reinforce the points above, I am going to review the secret success machine so that you can learn other important aspects about MLM companies. You will learn about the products, how the secret success machine operates, and at the end of the article, you should be able to decide if it’s something you want to join (If you have the money for the products).
Will Secret Success Machine Scam You?
The Success Secret Machine is simply an MLM company that offers very expensive products. The company also has complete emphasis on recruitment of others. Why would the company emphasize so much on that? That is because recruiting people to the program is much more profitable than selling products. If new recruits were able to pay the upfront while joining, then that should be enough profit for the company.
Secret Success Machine Products
The products include digital audios, eBooks, and videos. These three are created to deal with topics on personal growth and development, marketing, acquiring business skills, etc. These products can be downloaded to a computer, phone or tablet.
Here is where the prices of the products are just getting ridiculous:
- Bronze – $500
- Silver – $2000
- Gold – $3500
- Platinum – $6500
- Diamond – $12000
- Elite – $20000
This is just CRAZY to say the least. This is one of the most expensive MLM products that I have ever seen in my whole life.
Secret Success Machine Compensation Plan
The compensation plan is based on the 1-up mechanism. This means that the first person you register will be tagged as a training sale and you automatically become the sponsor of that person. As a sponsor, you will be rewarded for recruiting another person into the program. You will also get a chip from the sale of the person under you and that is termed a sale for you helping them to succeed. This means that the more people you bring into the program, the wider your earning potential. While it is true that this is where passive income can be made, the main issue is getting people to join. This is only easy on paper but becomes very difficult when reality checks in.
Should You Join Secret Success Machine?
I have to say that the amount needed to start join this program is ridiculous. It is so expensive that I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it.
You can join at six stages and the minimum you have to pay to join is $697. The first stage is the Bronze level, which costs $500 plus the $197 admin fee. The next package is the Silver package, which costs thrice as the previous one. It cost $2,000 plus the $197 admin fee. Next is the Gold package, which costs $6,500 plus $197 admin fee. The next is Diamond and Elite packages that cost $12,000 and $20,000 respectively.
What I don’t understand is how the creator of this program expects someone to drop $20,000 for a program that is not guaranteed to earn his or her sustainable income. According to the information, I gathered on this program, you could earn just the amount that the packaging below your level costs. So let’s assume you join with the platinum package (remember you are supposed to pay $6,500 plus $197). When you make a sale, you will earn $3,500 on the sale.
Why I Prefer Affiliate Marketing Over MLM
I prefer affiliate marketing to MLM for several reasons. First, you can start marketing, promoting, and selling products with affiliate marketing right away and it is free. Not only will you be able to sell products for free using affiliate marketing, but also have the opportunity to select the kind of company you want to work with. In addition, you don’t need to buy any product before trying to sell them to other people.
On the other hand, the cost of promoting and selling products is very high with MLM. Every month, you have to buy all the products you need before you can sell them. You can’t promote the products without first buying them. In fact, you have to incur costs every month in order to maintain your membership and continue to sell the products. What would you do if you can’t sell the products? Even if you sell all the minimum required products in a month, there is no guarantee that you will be able to do the same in the coming month. If you are not able to sell the minimum number of product in a month, you must buy them and use them yourself; that is how to maintain your membership.
Second, I prefer affiliate marketing to MLM because it allows me to diversify my niche. The world is mine for the taking while I follow my passion. If I am operating in the relationship niche but have passion about the gardening niche, I can quickly switch while still maintaining my other niche. All I have to do is create a new website to target my new niche.
Unlike affiliate marketing, MLM have limited niche diversity. You are stuck with only one niche that might be boring to you. If you don’t like the niche you operate in, you can’t switch to another niche. This can be depressing if you are not passionate about the products you are selling. Your situation will even be worsened if you are not able to sell all the products you are required to sell in a month. You can use them and you can give them out at no cost. This is one of the major reasons why multi-level marketing companies experience high turnover rate. People get frustrated and they leave the company in droves.

You give very good reasons why it is not a good idea to sign up with Secret Success Machine. It is a shame that good hard working people will get brought into something like this and lose hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I have been part of MLM’s in the past and it is difficult to make money and not as easy as they claim. Great article..thank you!
It is also one of the most expensive MLM companies that i have seen. Who can afford to pay $20 000 for some random ebook? It is not even a real product and it shows me that these guys just love it to promote high ticket offers.
First I would just like to say I love the comparison chart between MLM and Affiliate Marketing. Looks awesome!
I think some MLM systems have some merit, but like you say they are hard work to start getting momentum for beginners. The ‘not so’ Secret Success Machine definitely doesn’t sound like one to get involved in. And talk about EXPENSIVE!
Thanks for exposing yet another internet money making scam. I’ll steer clear of this one thanks to your advice.
I think this product was one of the few that was more expensive than Empower Network. I do not see myself buying an ebook for $20 000.
I can invest that money into something much better and reliable than this mlm.
Nice article Viljoen, very imformative!
I’ve partaken in two MLM companies in the past. A lot of hard work for little return. You’re right, secret success machine is expensive. I mean 20k for the elite package? C’mon.
The more I weigh up the pros and cons of making money online the more I lean towards affiliate marketing. Like you pointed out, on your getting started post. Affiliate marketing takes work and time, but the money to be earned can be limitless.
I agree Curt
Affiliate Marketing takes time to earn a substantial income. The work you do now will start to pay off after a couple of months. Even if it takes a bit longer you will still be able to earn a passive income from it.
Thank you Viljoen for the illuminating and helpful review of the Secret Success Machine Program. This is another garbage product, it seems. I’ve never even ventured into MLM and I don’t plan to anytime soon — I’m still what you would consider a “newbie” at making money online. In addition to that, the cost of this is definitely a deal-breaker for me. Just not worth it at all! I’ll be sure to check out your links. Thanks again.
Hi Paul
If you are new to any form of marketing, then I would advise you not to try this one. If you pay for the $20 000 elite package, then you will have a very bad experience with it. This will totally destroy your chances of having a good experience.
This is simply too much $20 000? Wow… Also the fact that you have really high competition im a single niche is so disappointing. I think if you want to succeed you FIRST need to LOVE what you do. You also need high quality support and help. I know Wealthy Affiliate and in my opinion, this is the best training you can get… The community out there is so amazing. And its FREE lol!
Anyway, thank you for your honesty and have a great day!
Yeah I agree David
With Wealthy Affiliate you can go into any niche that you want to and there is no limit to what you can achieve online with the training that you get.
Hi Viljoen, thank you for your reviewof the MLM and the Affiliate marketing programs. You gave me an insight to what it is to be an MLM. From what you just highlighted I will not join any of the MLM for several reasons as explained by yourself. I think Wealthy Affiliate is the best program that I know of at this time. Once again, thank you for a comprehensive review of the programs.
Hi Nelson and thanks for popping in.
You you want to learn how to build websites that will last for the long run, then Wealthy Affiliate is your best option.
LOL Viljoen I absolutely love your reviews on these schemes. You tell it like it is and call a spade a spade.
Yet another very sad scam exposed by you, well done! I don’t know why people just don’t try and help others instead of stealing money from them.
A much better and more honest way to make a living and you sleep the sleep of the just.
This MLM scam is like others just like it and just look at those outrageous prices with absolutely no guarantee or blueprint on how they are supposed to get a return on their investment.
Keep on calling these guys out Viljoen, you’re doing an awesome job!
Thanks Sam. Some mlm companies are getting ridiculous nowadays with their high prices.
I hate it when programs promise “simple step-by-step systems” because usually it’s an indication of a scam since making money online requires hard work. There is no easy way about going about it!
I’m not fond of MLM’s either! The Secret Success Machine is way over priced with costs that not many people can afford.
I can see how affiliate marketing beats MLM any day, and affiliate marketing is definitely the online money making method for me 🙂
Thanks for a great review on the Secret Success Machine.
Neil
I agree Neil.
I was actually shocked to see that they asked $20 000 for the elite membership. You can almost buy a car for that price.
OMG just the name ‘secret success machine’ screams scam. Why secret? It is so expensive even for starting members. Joining wealthy affiliate over secret success is a no brainer. You can start free and if you decide to join there are a lot of resources to help you succeed. The WA community is great and eager to help.
People use these words to make you thing that you have stumbled upon something that will give you an edge which is actually not the case in Secret success machine.
Hi Valie,
Like yourself, I am not a fan of MLM at all. I do however love affiliate marketing.
Secret success machines, I do wonder if they actually thought out their pricing plans. Do they really expect someone to shell out 20,000US$ for something that has no official accreditation? For that kind of money, I most certainly would expect some sort of official accreditation at college or university level.
That is a very large amount of money and of you decide to buy the product and not make money, then you have lost it all. It is a shame to charge that much.
I see that most of marketers like to sell the high priced products in order to earn a high commission.
Wow $697 for a minimum membership starting. That’s ridiculous!!! I agree with you, affiliate marketing is much more sensible and in my eyes profitable. Some mlm programs can be profitable but I don’t believe this one is even worth trying out. Also you comparison chart I’d very good, I like it.
Very good article!
Thanks Jesse
This product is not recommended and I would stay as far away from it as possible. I never knew that you can get a more expensive product that Empower Network.
Did I just read that correctly? Are they actually charging that much for the elite package of this MLM basis? That’s ridiculous – it could put someone out of home and one the streets. Hopefully this company will get shut down pronto because it sounds like an extremely dangerous scam situation – imagine losing that much….
This is what the “experts” call a high ticket item. You do not need nearly that much to start your own affiliate marketing business.
