Is Survey Money Machines legit?
It is really hard to tell because it is 100% free and you do not even have to pull out your credit card. Making money with online surveys is a legit way to earn money from home. I know of a lot of people that are doing surveys to make a part time income from home.
What will you find inside Survey Money Machines?
I decided to join this website last night and I realized that they only asked me for my email address, zip code, name and surname. You can trust most companies with this information, so I went forth and joined.
After you join, you will be asked a couple of questions that fill focus on information such as the car you drive, your annual income, the type of phone you have etc.
This took me about 2 minutes because the questions are very simple. After you are finished, you will be given a list of survey panels that you can join. One bonus for me was that you can filter the survey types, payment types and also by the customer ratings.
Now you are probably wondering how this website is making money and it is a very good question because nothing is for free nowadays and there is always a catch. The way that this website makes money is by sending people to these companies and to get paid for each referral.
This website will get paid from $1.5 up to $7 for each valid referral it has sent to the survey panel. I think that this is a great deal for them and you. They do not need to sell you something and you also do not need to buy anything from them.
All they do is providing you with a list of survey panels and you have to join them. This is also a legit way for them to make money online. I know this because I also have a website like this one. Feel free to check out my website.
What I liked
1) It is free. This is probably the first thing that I always look for when it comes to these types of websites. Remember that all of the information on surveys is for free and once you have to pay for this, then the website promoting this to you is a scam.
2) A lot of filtering options. I really liked this one as you can filter the survey panels by information such as focus groups, product testing, mystery shopping and also by the payment type you prefer.
3) Some of the panels are not that bad. I know that there is a ton of rubbish out there that will not make you any money at all. On this website I saw a couple of panels that are good in the sense that their pay is not good.
The bad
1)No training. If you do not do surveys the right way, you will earn next to nothing by pouring out your soul in front of your computer. There are a set of rules that you must follow in order to make money with survey sites.
2)Too much hype. Inside the menu where the list of survey panels is located, you will be told that you can make from $10-$15 per survey which is not true at all. The max that I found was around $5 and not $15. They also state that you can make around $50 per hour which is extremely rare to make.
Can you really make money with survey sites?
I have done a lot of surveys in my life and I also created a website to help people make money with them. The problem with survey sites are that you get paid very little for a lot of work. These companies on the other hand make a lot more money than they are paying you and it is a real shame that it works this way.
You can sit for hours and hours a day and still make a dime. My average earning rate was around $7 per hour and keep in mind that I am a very good survey taker with a lot of experience in this field. Though this is nothing to brag about because $7 per hour is nothing in compared to what you can make with other methods online.

This might have sound a bit too overwhelming but let me explain to you how I make a real passive income online. To make money with surveys is a legit way to earn an extra income, but you are actively making money online.
This means that will get paid per hour and your earnings potential is very limited. But what if I could tell you that there is a way to earn a passive income online where you could earn $6000 plus per month PASSIVELY. I am sorry that you almost fell off your chair, but this is real.
There are so many different business opportunities online that it is almost impossible to saturate all the demand online. To give you an example I have several tiny little websites online and earning around $100 per month from each one of them in a passive way.

Answer: No

Although surveys are a legit way to make money online, you cannot really scale your income with them. You do not have an asset or a real foundation on which you have control over how much money you want to make. I like the fact that Survey Money machines are free because you should never pay for a list of survey panels. Thanks for the compliments.
This is a great review. It’s the first time I’ve heard of Survey Money Machines. I use surveys a lot and agree, they are legitimate but they can take a long time and it can take a while to reach the withdrawal amount needed to cash in. But, it you need the money, it’s a good way to spend your evening if you are just sitting in front of the TV! It won’t make you rich though.

I agree. Survey panels are a legit way to make money online, but you can only scale it to some extent. If you are serious about making money online then you should steer away from survey panels because they are just a waste of time in the end.
Hey, very nice article, at a certain time in my life I tried the survey making money online, but it didn’t work out very well. I don’t know what site you were using at the beginning, but the one I used had very little surveys available, maybe 1-2 per day. In this way you couldn’t really earn much, even if you wanted. And the few surveys they had were exhausting, like they lasted even 20 or 30 minutes and they were asking you to rate about 20 things per page.I don’t even want to remember. Maybe there weren’t many surveys available for me because I didn’t live in America,I don’t know. Anyway, for me it didn’t go well, I felt like I was wasting my time with those surveys.

Some people make more money with surveys than others, maybe because their profile is better suited for the companies.
I also stopped with surveys after I found the potential of affiliate marketing. When you taste your first dollar with affiliate marketing, then you are hooked for life.
I tried survey money machines but I am not a big fan of this product. I kept receiving a lot of spam emails and I found it very annoying. Worst of all, some surveys didn’t pay me any commissions. I think it is just a big scam. I think they have a lot of work to improve the system.
As time goes, I have less interest with survey sites and I rather go for a proper online business that I take full control of how I want to earn revenue online.

Your income is very restricted to the amount of surveys you get and qualify for and also your earning per survey. There are a couple of things that you can do to increase your earnings, but it is not much.
You cannot really scale your income with surveys to the level that you want to and that is why I prefer Affiliate marketing above online surveys.
I’ve generated some meager income from online surveys. I’m just now beginning to see how many of these types of services exist. Do you think one could earn a full time living by answering questions? Seven dollars an hour is actually not bad for just answering some questions. When I was in college, seven dollars an hour is all I needed. I would have been glad to take some surveys. I agree that they ought to pay out more money based on what they are getting. Consumer opinions are very valuable in the marketplace and I’m sure some of these survey companies could afford to pay more to those who are providing the information. Without users taking the surveys, they would have nothing. Without the users, the interrogators would be out of business.

Yeah you can make money from surveys and it is legit, but you cannot scale your earning like that of affiliate marketing. You also cannot earn a passive income from surveys, because you actively have to answer all of the questions.
Can you make a fulltime income from surveys? I do not think so.

Some survey sites pay more than others, but I will not recommend them in general. The reason for this is that you cannot really scale your income by filling out surveys on a daily basis. It also depends on the profile that you have with the respective survey panel.
