Isagenix review
Just like the previous reviews on this website, there are certain things you need to take into consideration before you can decide whether a program will scam you or not. It does not matter how strong your opinion is about the program, if you don’t have facts that can support your view, your arguments will not be convincing.
Whether you are someone interested in their products or you are interested in selling their products, this review is for you.
This is why I always conduct research and pull up data from different sources before telling you whether a particular system is worthy of your time, money, and effort. It also has an opportunity where you can make money from it because it is also an MLM company. I am not a big fan of MLM but I will get to that later.
As far as my research goes, Isagenix is some sort of product that is popular on the internet. There are many companies running Isagenix with different products. They are nutritional products that consist of intermittent fasting, Detox and a caloric restrictive program.
There are now lots of Isagenix programs on the internet but the most popular one is the 9 day or 30 day cleanse located on the Isagenix website. Most people recommend it for those suffering from IBS and other diseases.
However, I was not able to find any information regarding the approval of these products by the FDA as to whether it can be used in curing, treating, or preventing diseases. As far as your health is concerned, you can’t just start using a product like this without consulting your physician. While results have been varied, I would stay away from a program like this since the FDA has not issued any statement approval its usage.
As you can see there is no results on FDA.gov that indicate that Isagenix is registered with them
Overall, Isagenix is supposed to help you lose weight, be fit and live a healthy lifestyle. However, if you look at the controversies on Isagenix, you will be forced to think twice before plunging into buying. People also say that Isagenix does not need to be regulated by the FDA because it is supplements and that is completely wrong. Anything that you put into your body that has nutrients and energy is food so supplements will fall under the same category as food.
Isagenix Products
- 30 Day Cleanse
- 9 Day Cleanse
You need to be careful about the information you read on the official website. Most of the content is geared towards promoting these products. However, there is no clear evidence that that the production of these products are certified. At the time of this writing, the FDA (Federal Food and Drug Agency) has not issued any statement endorsing these products. Most people who have used this product in the past only base their decision on the opinions of other people.
However, you need to consult your physician before you can use something a product like this since it concerns your health and wellness. I am aware that some people have found the product useful and are going about recommending it to others. The truth is that it may have worked for them, but that is no guarantee that it will work for you or other people.
Compensation Plan
There are six different ways of being paid if you decide to join and sell Isagenix products. Like other MLM programs, it is the remuneration plan that attracts people to them in the first place. There will also be 5 levels that you can reach where each one has its own prerequisites and benefits.
- Associate
- Consultant
- Manager
- Director
- Executive
As an Associate you will earn around 33% commissions from the products that you promote. When you reach the consultant level you will be able to earn team bonuses from your referrals.
Isagenix will recommend those who join the program to sell their products and recruit others in order to earn money. However, there is no training on how to sell their products and this might have negative consequences. Since you won’t have any nutritional knowledge or the capacity to provide answers to simple queries, how can you be selling nutritional products?
These skills are very important if you intend to be selling the 30-day cleansing plan. After taking 30 days to cleanse, customers will be willing to ask questions about sustaining the changes they have made and if you can’t provide answers to such questions, how would these people see you? This program could have been better if there is a training platform where representatives are giving clear instructions on what they need to know before going about recommending this to other people.
Should You Join Isagenix
I will not advise you to buy into this program for the fact that the results depicted on the official website may not be a true representation of what will happen to you if you use the product. If you have used any cleansing product like this in the past, you will know what I’m talking about. However, if you have not and you don’t have any experience with any, then you are still in safe hands.
Before you make use of this program, consult your physician. Note that the best thing you can do for your body is to have a sensible eating plan and engage in regular exercise. This golden truth will enable you to enjoy long-term weight loss results you have been waiting for.
Why I Prefer Affiliate Marketing Over MLM
From my experience, affiliate marketing is easier and more flexible to do. With just little amount of money and a little internet knowledge, you can start earning money with affiliate marketing.
I have created a couple of websites that is targeted at different niches with some level of success. One thing I learnt is that affiliate marketing is not just any business; it allows you to create a personal relationship with your readers. Unlike MLM where you may only deal with a customer once, the relationship between you and your audience – and by extension, your customers can turn into friendship.
When you are recommending products on a website, you are helping some people solve their problem. You don’t have to be an expert before you can help people. The time you devoted to researching information and the time you sit to write, the time you sit to edit and post on your website is valuable, and customers/readers will see through that in your writing.

Besides, before you can set up a website, you have to have learned who your customers are, what problems they are currently facing, and how you can go about helping them find a solution to it. However, MLM is a business where you just recommend and where you also need to buy the product (even if you do not want it) in order to sell it.
Hi Valie:
I have never heard of Isagenix, but like you I am not a fan of MLM schemes at all. I do not believe in the ethics of forcing your friends and family members into joining anything. I did want to ask you, does IBS refer to irritable bowl syndrome? I saw it mentioned in your review but was not sure exactly what it stood for.
You are right about Isagenix’s claims of not having to go through FDA because they are supplements. That is wrong as you said. I used to work for a Pharmacy department at a major university so I know that everything to include vitamin and dietary supplements and basically anything that you can put into your mouth falls under the category of food.
Thank you for writing this review. I look forward to reading more.
Steph
Hi Stephanie
IBS is indeed irritable bowl syndrome. It has a lot to do with your large intestine or colon. Everything that the body can digest or metabolize will fall under the category of food, so it needs to be approved by the FDA.
I am very afraid to try supplement products these days, especially those that comes from MLM companies. Is is so easy nowadays to mix your own supplement, through it into a bottle, put your label on it and you have a product.
The chances of buying an unregulated product from your local store is much smaller.
I was interested in your review of this product. As you did not say you had tried it, I assume you have not. Am I right?
Isagenix seems like a product, and program to avoid. Thank you for your opinions;
Think for now I will skip this one! Have you found another that you like, that is similar to this product?
Thank you,
Sami
Hi Sami
No I did not try them, but I have sufficient knowledge on MLM to distinguish the good from the bad. Isagenix is not that bad, but I have a problem with the fact that they are not registered with the FDA.
We must be careful for what we put into our bodies.
Hmm. I am not a fan of fad diets and dietary programs. I actually do not think that they are even healthy. Just by eating low processed, natural foods, eating less sugar and fat, and exercising you are healthy enough, generally. After all, God created the world that way. That being said, if this is not approved by the FDA, and it’s also a MLM to boot, I would suspect that it might be some guy’s scheme to make money.
It is spot on as you say there Ben. The foundation of weight loss is that you must burn more energy that what you are consuming. Some products can help with your metabolism, but if you cut down on processed foods and aim for more natural foods, then you are on the right path.
Thanks for the thorough and informative review. The online world is pretty crazy with all the opportunities that are offered and it’s great to have people who have the backs of those who are a little less experienced in the online world so that they don’t fall for scams. This opportunity looks alright.. Keep up the good work!
Isagenix is not that bad, but I would take caution before using any of their products because they are not registered with the FDA.
You will never know what is in the supplements if there is no entity that regulates the making of the products.
Hi Viljoen,
I’m not a massive fan of MLM as business opportunities so I wouldn’t be interested in it from that perspective.
I know you’ve you’ve said that it hasn’t been approved by the FDA. I live in the UK do you know if it has been approved by the Food standards agency this “side of the pond” by any chance?
