SPX Nutrition review
Company: SPX Nutrition
Is SPX Nutrition a scam?
It can sometimes be a pain when you walk in a shopping centre or when someone randomly calls you trying to enroll you for one of these companies. The worst part of it all was that a couple of years ago I was in the same boat. I joined an MLM company and tried to enroll random people on the street, friends and family (Yeah I really tried).
A Couple of weeks ago I received a random email from my spam folder where someone actually tried to enroll me to SPX nutrition. I then started to wonder if it was a scam and will I make money with this company?
I did a bit of research on the products and the compensation plan to see if it was really worth it. I realized that it was not a scam, but unfortunately I will not waste my valuable time trying to promote this company.
Below I will try to explain some of the major components that you must be beware off before investing money into an MLM company and SPX nutrition in this case.
The Products (The fuel off the engine)
For an MLM company to make money it needs products just as an engine needs fuel to run. If it did not have products, then it could easily be classified as a pyramid scheme which is not legit BTW.
The first thing that I look at when reviewing products is if it is unique and whether they are competitive regarding the price. Below I will discuss some of some of the products that you can sell:
1. Nutri Thin
This is a dietary supplement in the form of capsules that will help you to lose weight. It focuses on suppressing your appetite and speeding up your metabolism.
When it is in the form of pill with the function of losing weight, then it is most likely a weight loss pill and I know from personal experience that they can only do that mush regarding weight loss.
2. Nutri Cleanse Detox (harmful chemicals)
This is the second product on the list that will help you to “detox”. When I see a detox product, the first thing that I will do is to look at the ingredient section at the back of the bottle to see if there are any chemicals inside the product.
You will see that there are a lot of natural ingredients which might help in the detoxing process, but then I saw something very interesting.
I came across the fact that it also contained Silicon Dioxide which is not a healthy component. When this chemical passes through your blood brain barrier, it can cause auto immune diseases, rheumatoid arthritis and kidney problems so why the hell would they put this in a detox product? It is like servicing your car with dirty oil.
I would rather fast for 3 days to enable my body to get rid of all the toxins than taking this product.
3. Extreme Cardio
This product contains L-Arginine and L-Citrulline in combination with other minerals that contributes to cardiovascular health.
4. Nutri Biotix
This is a product that promotes gut health. It contains Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria that are 2 probiotics that promotes gut health
5. Vita Sea
Most of the components of this product come from the sea which helps building the vitamin matrix of the product. It contains Aquamin, Sea lettuce, Bladderwrack and other type of plants that comes from the sea.
I am not a big fan of the supplement industry especially when it comes to MLM because it is extremely competitive and I do not like the detox product from this company.
The supplement industry in general creates a demand for their products by telling you that you are deficient from some type of mineral or vitamin in order to sell you their products.
The compensation plan
This is one of those typical MLM type compensation plans where you can earn money from more than one level deep. It also has 20 levels that you can reach which is a big NO for me. The compensation plan is the engine of the company that uses the fuel (products) in order to run.
The more levels you have to reach the harder it will be to actually make more money. This is the company’s way to “brake” some of the performances of network marketers in order to send more money to the top.
My rule of thumb is a maximum of 10 levels and when it gets more than that, then it becomes harder to reach the top.
It is because of these levels that most people quit MLM and that you are dependent on your sales group in order to reach each level. There are currently 20 levels and I will list them below:
- Senior IP 1
- Senior IP 2
- Senior Manager 1
- Senior Manager 2
- Senior Director 1
- Senior Director 2
- Senior Executive 1
- Senior Executive 2
- Corporate Director
- Senior Corporate Director 1
- Senior Corporate Director 2
- Corporate Executive
- Senior Corporate Executive 1
- Senior Corporate Executive 2
As you can see these levels are just too many for my taste and this will make it hard to succeed in this industry. This compensation plan also has a maximum of 7 generations which also limits your earning potential.
Should you join SPX Nutrition?
I am not a huge MLM fan and I must add that this was also one of the worst MLM companies that I came across. It does not have a large variety of products to sell and the products are also in a very competitive niche.
To add to that it does not look like the products are of that good quality either. The compensation plan is also a mess because of all the levels which makes it hard to grow your business.
Sometimes you will get companies that has great product that are unique and off high quality, but then the compensation plan is very complicated. Some other companies will have the tables turned where the products are not that good, but the compensation plan it easier to understand and will allow anyone to grow easier.
It is very rare to get a company that has both a good product and a compensation plan.
How I make money with Affiliate Marketing
While Multilevel Marketing looks very dull, there is luckily another way to get around this problem. What if you could go into any market where you have the option to promote any product that you wish?
What if it was only you that can influence the growth of your business where you will reap what you sow. What if you also do not need to buy the product in order to promote it as in the case of all the MLM companies?
This is where will introduce affiliate marketing to you. All you need to do is to choose a niche that you are passionate about, build a website (this can all be done with a push of a button), get visitors to your website with articles that you write and then recommend products to your customers.
Do you have any experience with SPX Nutrition? Well if you do, leave me a comment as I would love to hear from you 🙂
