Traffic Monsoon review
Price: $0.02 per click
What is Traffic Monsoon?
Before I start I would like to say that I am not in any way affiliated with Traffic Monsoon.
Website traffic is one of the most important factors when trying to build an internet business and without it, you can just as well close your doors. Websites like traffic Monsoon is making it possible to get traffic to your website, but the whole agenda behind the plan looks bad.
Traffic Monsoon is a PTC website where there are 4 ways to make money with this website.
1. Click on ads
This is the person that earns $0.01 for each time he or she clicks on an ad. After they click on the ad, they need to be on the website for at least 30 second. They can also bet paid $0.02 to be on a website for 60 seconds. The hourly rate should work out around $1.2 per hour for the clicker which is horrible to say the least.
2. Get traffic to your website
This is the person that pays from $0.02 up to $0.04 per click to his website depending on the time frame of the visit. About 50% will go directly to the clicker and the other part will go to the sponsor. The money you will make will come directly from the sales that come from your personal website.
3. Refer people to this website
When you refer someone to this website and they buy something, you will earn a 10% commission.
4. Revenue sharing
The revenue sharing part can be complicated to understand and I will do my best to explain it fully. There are 2 ways to have a revenue sharing position:
- When you buy an ad pack of $50
- When you click on a minimum of 10 ads per day, you will receive a revenue share.
The amount you will receive will be a maximum of $55 in revenue share. You will get a cut from all the sales generated within this website as long as you have a sharing position. With each ad pack of $50 you buy, you can receive a cut of up to $50.
Is Traffic Monsoon a scam?
I do not consider this traffic source as legit because why should you pay for someone to visit your website? First of all the motive of the clicker is not to buy anything that you are promoting on your website because if he is willing to work for $1.2 per hour, then he is desperate. Let’s look at some of the facts:
The owner of Traffic Monsoon is a known scam artist
The owner of TM is Charles Scoville and he has been involved with many other PTC sites that were shut down before. One of the reasons for all of the shut downs were that some of the members did not receive their payments promised by these websites.
Here is an example of some of the websites that was shut down.
You will also notice that the domains of these websites do not exist anymore. There is a total of 9 websites that was shut down which was owned by him. If it was maybe 1 or 2 websites then it could have been more acceptable, but 9 is just too much for me to handle. Below is a video of him trying to prove that he is not a scam artist:
Some people say that Charles has learned his lesson and turned away from the dark side, but when your name has dirt on it then it is almost impossible to get that trust back. People do change and I agree with it 100%, but if he has done it once, he can do it again.
Bad user experiences
There are mixed feeling associated with this website, while some people has received their money through PayPal while others are struggling to get their money back. Some people will say that it is a scam, while others will tell you that they are making a full time living with Traffic Monsoon.
Check out this page on PTC Central to get an idea.
Most of the people that are protecting the name of Charles are doing it because they are making money by referring people to this website. One thing to remember is that even if you get paid by this website, it still does not mean that it is not a scam.
Some members might get their money, while others won’t because the owner has full control over who’s accounts gets blocked and who gets paid in the end. Remember that the owner needs to make money with the business and with this type of business model, it is almost impossible to know how much money the website has made through sales.
This makes it hard to know the REAL amount of money which should have went to your pocket.
Do I recommend Traffic Monsoon?
Whether you want to click on ads, buy traffic, take part in revenue sharing or refer people to this website, I do not care because every one of them is a waste of time. I will never recommend that you rely on a website such as this one to make a full time living.
If you are making money with this website then good for you, but just remember one thing. The day might come when either your account gets blocked or this website gets shut down.
Charles has a track record for his websites being shut down and if you are relying on this website to make a full time living, then I would suggest that you do not put all of your eggs in one basket. I know that there will be people out there that will call me a hater and it is fine, because I could not bear the thought of referring someone to this website if I did not trust it 100%.
If you want to join Traffic Monsoon go ahead, but start small and never rely on only this website to make a fulltime living. The site might be legit for now, but nothing stops the owner to repeating history.
People will always search for ways to make money online and more than 90% of the methods are either a scam or a waste of time. There is one method that passed the test of time and it is called affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is where you refer people to products you do not own.
If someone buys a product through your website, you will earn a commission. The way that I recommend is for you to build your own website which in return will give you a long term passive income stream which will never shut down or run dry.
One problem that most people experience is that they do not know where to start and where to get their training from. There is only one place that I would recommend for a complete beginner and you can check out this training centre here.
Lastly I want you to take note that if you are promoting Traffic Monsoon, do not even think about spamming my website through the comments.
